MediSyn

Content & community rules

Draft for review — last updated 17 June 2026.

MediSyn is a trusted, professional space for verified UK healthcare professionals. These rules are binding on all posts, comments, messages and profiles.

No patient-identifiable information — ever

Do not post, message, or share any information that could identify a patient — names, dates, NHS numbers, images, rare-presentation details, or any combination that could re-identify someone. Discuss clinical matters only in anonymised, professional terms. Patient-identifiable content is removed on sight and may result in suspension or a ban.

Prohibited content

  • Patient-identifiable information — anything that could identify a patient (the hard line above).
  • Harassment or abuse — treat colleagues as you would on the ward.
  • Spam — repetitive, off-topic, or commercial solicitation.
  • Misinformation — especially on clinical or public-health topics.
  • Illegal content — anything unlawful under UK law.

Verification & trust

Every member is a verified UK healthcare professional. Verification is free and universal — the trust floor is never paywalled.

Reporting & enforcement

Any member can report a post, comment, message or profile (including for patient-identifiable information). Reports go to our moderators, who may remove content, warn, suspend, or ban accounts. Suspended members cannot post; banned members lose access. Every moderation action is logged.
